Achievements

Sakura Academy students have consistently excelled at the Eastern India Annual Japanese Speech Contest and Prose Reading Competition, winning top honors in both junior and senior categories, felicitated by the Deputy Vice Consul, Consulate General of Japan in Kolkata.

Multiple Sakura Academy students have been selected for the prestigious JENESYS (Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths) international student exchange program since its inception in 2008 — a testament to the quality of our students and programs.

Our institute has been regularly invited to seminars and training programs conducted by the Japan Foundation and the Japanese Government, reflecting our standing as a reputed institution in promoting Japanese language and culture in Eastern India.

In collaboration with the School of Languages, Jadavpur University, Sakura Academy organized the acclaimed international seminar "Tagore and Japan: A Retrospection" — supported by the Rabindranath Studies Centre and graced by the Deputy Consul General of Japan in Kolkata.
